Online Marketing Strategies

When I began working online 10 years ago the company taught this method of online marketing. While most of it was very confusing to me at the time, having no previous experience with online marketing, over time I have learned that these 10 strategies do come into play more often then you would think. Each one used separately will produce results; together you will be able to build a substantial Internet Business.

The most common Internet marketing methods are these:

1. Doorway Pages and Search Engine Registration
2. Banner or Textual Ad Placement-Traffic Exchanges
3. Banner or Textual Ad Placement-Online Classifieds
4. Banner or Textual Ad Placement-Paid Placements
5. Building your own content rich website
6. Utilizing an Opt-In program
7. Hosting FFA Pages
8. Using Safelists, Announcement Lists, and Viral Marketing
9. Press Releases, Relationship Building, and Offline Promotion
10. The Latest New Technique

As I stated in my opening separately these would work but are best when used in conjunction with one another. Over the next several articles I will be explaining each one and the best way to use them to build your business.

Doorway Pages and Search Engine Registration

A “doorway page” is a Web page that is used to lead people to the targeted site. A good example of a “doorway page” is http://website.ws/nkraska. This page contains a link to the target page where you hope the customer takes action, such as signing up for the program, purchasing a product. A target page does the selling; a “doorway page” gets peoples attention and then leads them to the target page.
