The Importance Of Article Writing

By | Oct 20, 2011

Ten years ago when I started my online business with just one website I had no money to advertise.  The biggest challenge for me was finding the money to make money.  One of my mentors online suggested article writing as a means to promote my new business.

The first thought that entered my head was “I don’t write”.  He reminded me that I said I couldn’t develop a website either, but I did it.  So “don’t” was erased from my vocabulary when it came to my online business.  If you want to succeed erase from yours also, it has no place.

I wrote my first article and submitted it to various article sites on the Internet.  Then I wrote my second and did the same.  Within a very short time I started having real visitors to my site, not just friends and family.

I continued this trend for the next year writing about experiences online, what I had discovered as a newbie, I read other people’s articles and got ideas-never copying their articles but using ideas from one article and incorporating into another.  Updating previous articles I had wrote.  I discovered PLR articles. Which are sometimes a free grouping of articles on a particular subject, these helped me when I got stuck on what to write.  Although I do not recommend using them as your whole article as they have been used many times by many people and you will come off as not knowing what it is you are talking about.

Working 9-5 While Creating An Income Online

By | Jul 20, 2010

People all over the world and all walks of life would love to have the freedom of working for themselves. Working from the comfort of your own home without the daily commute is a pipe dream for many people. While these same people hate their day jobs they are insecure about taking that final step to working at home. The uncertainty that comes with a work at home income is too overwhelming for the average person. Although the world economy in the last few years has proven that nothing in the job market is a guarantee.

These same individuals, understandably, value not only the steady income of a full time job, but also the benefits that are often included. The consistently complain to spouses and friends about their bosses and work environment, but are still hesitant to do anything about it. It is my belief that there are some people who thrive on complaining about their jobs, while others seek ways to improve their income through perhaps what some might consider unorthodox methods.

Those who do look for other means of supporting themselves beyond the everyday work environment often feel oppressed at their 9-5 job. They want more out of what life has to offer. These individuals are looking for a new challenge and the freedom that comes with owning their own online business.

Forget daycare, commutes, long hours, little pay, tiredness, boredom and the very idea of office politics is tiresome. You can choose what it is you want to do while still working 9-5 to satisfy the bill collectors and spouses.

Have you been searching for FREE quality information that you
can use to build a successful online business, but getting
totally frustrated by the lack of *useful* content out there?

Believe me, I feel your pain! I was in the exact same boat

“experts,” which turned out to be nothing but thinly disguised
plugs for products nobody needs or even wants!

But then I came across Internet marketing guru Derek Gehl and
his team at the Internet Marketing Center…

equal!

See, thanks to a lot of advice and help early on, Derek took
a $25 investment and turned it into $60,000,000 in online
sales — and now, in appreciation for the support he received
when he was starting out, he’s determined to give back.

(For instance, in the past couple of weeks alone, he’s given
away over $450,000 worth of free eBooks. Talk about being
committed to helping YOU succeed!)

Anyway, Derek’s now offering FREE TRIAL subscriptions to his
exclusive members-only online profit newsletter, “Secrets To
Their Success,” and he’s agreed to reserve a few for my best

What You Can Expect From An Online Business

By | Jan 15, 2009

Eight years ago I decided to start an online business, never knowing what that would entail. I truly believed the hype of a business running 24/7 by itself. How utterly naive I was.

Essentially an online business does run by itself, once it is set up. However, an online business is constantly changing. New challenges await the unwary behind every website. Not only does it keep changing and challenging you the business owner, but as your business evolves so do the challenges. How you adapt to these challenges and changes will determine whether your online business will succeed.

From my personal experience, once you decide on the home based business you want to involve yourself in, allow at least three months to learn new strategies, for some a new language (computer speak), and to improve the multitude of new things you will be learning to enable you to run your home business. Have patience these first three to six months as they will be over in a blink of an eye; you need this learning curve to succeed. You need to know what you are doing and how you are doing it to start to grasp the concept of your running a home based business, and not chasing the dream of owning one.

Working Online

By | Nov 10, 2008

What is the number one secret that successful Internet marketers know to succeed? The answer is simple: Hard work and determination. It is the same online as it is with a brick and mortar business. If you think an online business is a set it and forget type of business, and all you have to do is put a website on the Web, sit back and watch the money roll in..think again. It takes a lot of hard work and a lot of commitment; but it is a lot less expensive than starting a brick and mortar business. For very little investment you could be on your way to making money online.

The difference between working online and working offline is that the World Wide Web makes everyone equal. The retired person can develop a website as well as anyone. On an equal level the only thing that matters is how hard you work. The customers who are coming to your website do not know if you have a business degree or a high school diploma.

The Internet gives you something that has never existed before in business: an inexpensive way for you to sell directly to consumers. Before the Internet, if you wanted to sell directly to consumers, you either had to build retail stores or do mailings of advertising material. In either case the fees can be enormous! You have to work hard to take advantage of this opportunity. But with hard work, you don’t need a lot of money to get started.
